Flowing from Table Rock Lake dam winding it’s way through old Branson is Lake Taneycomo, a 22 mile stretch of the White River open all year and stocked with Rainbow and Brown Trout for some excellent fishing fun. While you may bring your own or rent equipment/boats, hiring a professional fishing guide may put you in a better position for the fun. White River Lodge host and fishing guide, Bill Babler, provides all equipment, lures/baits, stories, and takes you in his bass boat for a 4-8 hour fishing trip. First timers or ardent fishers are welcome. If you would like to take home fish, he will clean and package your limit. Taneycomo provides more than just fishing with its beautiful surroundings and other forms of wildlife (including the shoppers at the Branson Landing but that’s another blog!). Oh, when staying at White River Lodge, you’ll get $25 off your fishing trip and save on lodging with our Spring Away special now through May 15. For more fishing info, give us a call or check out Bill’s White River Outfitters website. Here’s a video taken from a lodge guest trout trip in February.
